A banking and money app. It began as a card for spending abroad without the usual currency markup and has become a bank in its own right: current accounts, payments, currency exchange, stock and crypto trading, and business accounts. It holds a full UK banking licence granted in March 2026, a French licence granted in August 2026, and has conditional approval for a US national bank charter.
Named as a constituent of Morningstar PitchBook Unicorn 20 Index, Morningstar PitchBook Unicorn 30 and Morningstar PitchBook Global Unicorn — a fact about those indexes, not an endorsement.

PrePost's proprietary index, combining capital-raising momentum, market-pricing confidence, and investor strength into one comparable score from 0 to 100. It lets you compare companies on those three measures; it is not a rating of the investment. How it works
Revolut is the best-evidenced valuation on this site, and the reason is worth stating: the price does not rest on press reporting alone. Two funds that must file their holdings with the SEC carry Revolut at exactly $2,017.00 a share, the same price reported for the July 2026 secondary sale, and a third is within 0.6%. What the UK filings do and do not give. Revolut Group Holdings Ltd (company no. 12743269) files returns of allotment, but they record employee option exercises at GBP 0.03 to GBP 22.34 rather than priced rounds, and its August 2026 return of purchase of own shares records 531,700 shares bought into treasury on 10 June 2026 with the consideration left blank. The useful number from the registry is therefore the share count rather than a price: 59,975,280 shares in issue at the 2 May 2026 filing, on an issued rather than fully diluted basis, so the option pool sits on top of that and is not quantified here. That share count does not reconcile with the headline. At $2,017 a share it implies roughly $121bn against a reported $115bn. Treasury shares and a count struck on a different date would explain a gap of about that size, but PrePost has not reconciled it and publishes the reported figure rather than its own arithmetic. Both valuations since 2021 came from secondary sales, in which employees and early backers sold to institutional buyers. No new capital reached the company, so these set a price without being fundraises in the usual sense. Revolut's audited 2025 accounts show revenue of GBP 4.52bn, up from GBP 3.09bn, and profit before tax of GBP 1.71bn, which is unusual at this stage and is part of why the price has moved as it has.

These are on the public record as giving exposure to Revolut. Buying one means owning a stake in the vehicle, not in Revolut, and the vehicle takes fees along the way.

On the public record means the vehicle exists in a regulatory filing or a public product document. It does not mean PrePost has vetted it, or checked that it suits you. What each of these really is, and what comes off your return, is in the instruments primer.

| Target val. | $200.0B |
| Timing | About two years from April 2026, per the CEO |
| Listing | Nasdaq and the London Stock Exchange, dual listing |
| Notes | Storonsky has said publicly that Revolut is weighing a simultaneous listing in New York and London, and that the US is his preference because 'it's a larger market'. Asked for a timeline, a spokesperson declined to comment and pointed to an April 2026 Bloomberg interview in which he said 'in two years time, but it depends on how good the market is'. Reporting puts internal valuation targets between $150bn and $200bn; the figure recorded here is the top of that range and is a target, not a mark. The regulatory groundwork is the more concrete signal: a full UK banking licence in March 2026, a French licence in August 2026, conditional approval for a US national bank charter in September 2026, and a Swiss application alongside a pledge to invest over CHF 150M there. |
