Canva

Design software for people who are not designers. Templates and a drag-and-drop editor for presentations, social posts, documents and video, sold free with a paid tier and increasingly to companies as a replacement for a design team's overflow work.

$42.0B
high confidence · The August 2025 employee share sale, at $1,646.14 a share for a $42bn valuation, with Fidelity and JPMorgan Asset Management among the buyers. Corroborated exactly by an SEC-filed mark: the Fundrise Innovation Fund's N-PORT carries 5,831 shares at $9,598,642, which is $1,646.14 to the cent. Note that BlackRock Science and Technology Trust carries a line labelled 'CANVA COMMON STOCK' at $1,144.85 a share on the same reporting date, 30% lower -- see notes. No share count is public, so the figure here is the tender's own valuation rather than arithmetic from the per-share price.

Canva valuation history

Two funds on this site carry Canva at prices 44% apart on the same reporting date, and the gap is almost certainly not a disagreement about what Canva is worth. The Fundrise Innovation Fund marks it at $1,646.14, exactly the price of the August 2025 employee tender. BlackRock Science and Technology Trust marks a line it labels 'CANVA COMMON STOCK' at $1,144.85. Common stock carries no liquidation preference, so it is ordinarily worth less than the preferred shares investors hold, and a discount of roughly that size is unremarkable. PrePost has not confirmed which class each fund holds, so this is the likely explanation rather than an established one. It matters to anyone being offered Canva shares: the headline $42bn is a preferred-share price, and employee or secondary stock may be a different security at a materially different price. Ask which class is on offer before comparing any quote to the headline. Canva is the second non-US company published here and the first Australian one. Its Index score sits in the same global pool as the US companies; see jurisdiction_expansion.md for why that is acceptable for a company this size and not for a small one.
